Over the last eighteen years Dandy Dave don Porro has been travelling over the map of the Continent Of Old Europe and England, as the clever part of such bands as The Perverts, the original and handsome surf instrumental group The Apemen, more recently with The Nederbietels and ofcourse also as a record spinner and collector. To afford himself THE extraordinary lifestyle he is notorious for, he has been making money as local promotor at venues like Rotown and Nighttown, where he booked commercial acts like Calexico, Primal Scream, Solomon Burke, Black Rebel Motorcycle, THE LIBERTINES , Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, The White Stripes and Simon Geitenoog in the mean time. He is also the fellow who put together the whole puzzle of the Primitive! Festival so far. The last year Dandy Dave has picked up his definitive vocation, that of loving father.
